Sequence engineering
Computational sequence engineering with targeted mutation strategies for better expression, solubility and shelf life.
When a high-resolution structure isn't available, or when the priority is producibility and shelf life rather than novel function, sequence engineering is often the most pragmatic lever. We combine evolutionary signal from homologous sequences, structural context from models, and ML-based fitness predictors into a single consistent scoring frame.
From that frame we build compact, IP-clean variant libraries — large enough to support an informed experimental choice, small enough to keep screening and characterization affordable.
Objectives are weighted to your goals: recombinant expression in the host of your choice, solubility at high concentration, protease resistance, thermal stability, or shelf life in a specific formulation.
You receive ranked sequence sets with a design report, predicted properties and a clear recommendation for the order in which variants should move into synthesis, cloning and screening.
