As a biotech spin-off focused on protein stability, we look beyond the limits of AlphaFold2 in de novo design and combine physics-based modeling with generative AI. We welcome in silico drug discovery partnerships and deliver tangible results that our partners can validate experimentally.

Dr. Kornelius Zeth
Dr. Kornelius Zeth has spent decades at the frontier of structural biology and protein chemistry, with deep expertise in membrane proteins, VDAC structural analysis, X-ray crystallography, antimicrobial peptides (AMPs) overcoming bacterial efflux pumps, membrane protein structure prediction and PDB rendering / structural modeling outsourcing. He is a former Professor of Structural Biology at Roskilde University.
At ProtoVela he combines that scientific depth with modern computational and machine-learning approaches to design proteins that are more stable, better expressed and ready for industrial application.
